Ethel Lois Payne was an American journalist, editor, and foreign correspondent. Known as the "First Lady of the Black Press," she fulfilled many roles over her career, including columnist, commentator, lecturer, and freelance writer.

Dolly Rebecca Parton Dean is an American singer, songwriter, actress, and philanthropist who's primarily known for her country music. Parton has used her platform and talent to advocate for women and other marginalized groups throughout her long career. She was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1986 and the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2001. Parton is also known for her Imagination Library, which provides free books to children from birth to age five. 

Ms. Seidner is recognized for her ability to foster cooperative activism among American Indians at the regional, state and national level. She has taken leadership roles with a number of organizations and on a number of issues. Her work has included serving on the Executive Committee for the National Congress of American Indians and the Northern California Indian Development Council.

Mildred Ella "Babe" Didrikson Zaharias was an American athlete who excelled in golf, basketball, baseball, and track and field. She won two gold medals and a silver in track and field at the 1932 Summer Olympics before turning to professional golf and winning 10 LPGA major championships.
