Joshua Kindred, who resigned as a U.S. District Court judge for Alaska last week, allegedly had an “inappropriately sexualized relationship” with one of his law clerks. And archeologists excavating an ancient pit house near Delta Junction say the artifacts they’ve found go back 14000 years.

The 52-foot seiner, the Jaci Grace, sank on Sunday in Southeast Alaska. Aniak’s tribal government is suing state and federal agencies for taking human remains from an airport site and not returning them – and not allowing the tribe to excavate the site.
