With over 15 years of experience, he has performed more than 5,000 knee surgeries and published over 40 peer-reviewed research papers. He is internationally recognised for his contributions to knee surgery and has been an invited speaker at major conferences worldwide.

Dr. Fritsch is a Director of the Sydney Orthopaedic Research Institute, Chairman of the Knee Sports and Preservation Committee for ISAKOS, and the Research Lead for Orthopaedic Robotics at the Institute for Academic Surgery at RPA Hospital.
