KNEO Podcast

Chip relates the most fearful encounter with demons he ever faced and how you can prepare yourself to do battle with the Enemy.

Four facts you need to know

1. God has objectively defeated Satan. He has delivered us from sin’s penalty and power. In the interim, we are involved in guerilla warfare with demonic forces.
2. As believers, we have been transferred from the kingdom of darkness to the Kingdom of light with all the rights, privileges, and position a child of God entails.
3. The spiritual battle involves a responsibility to “put on” the spiritual protection God has provided. We can resist the enemy’s attempts to deceive, accuse, and cast doubt when we stand firm.
4. The great majority of spiritual warfare need never go beyond the regular practice of living out our position in Christ by faith. Our practice of the spiritual armor protects us from Satan’s attempts and minimizes any impact by the enemy.

There are times however, when we must move beyond “standing firm” and ENGAGE the enemy in actual combat

• When taking significant steps of faith for spiritual growth
• When invading enemy territory
• When exposing him for who he really is
• When we repent and make a “clean break” with the world, a long-held sin pattern, or an unholy relationship
• When God is preparing us for a “great work” for His glory

How to engage the enemy and win:

1. Taking up the shield of FAITH
2. Take the helmet of SALVATION
3. Take the sword of the SPIRIT

Summary: How to engage the enemy in spiritual warfare

1. Prerequisite is a HEALTHY spiritual life
2. Understand your POSITION in Christ
3. DISCERN when demonic influence may be the cause
4. Claim God’s promises OUT LOUD
5. Take our authority and position in Christ to COMMAND demonic forces to cease their activity and depart

When pride takes over, it can bring us down fast. Today, Joyce shares how humility opens the door for God's promotion and lasting honor in our lives.

Satan tried to prevent Christ from reaching adulthood, thus preventing our redemption. But God had a plan to rescue us from the beginning of creation—and no angel or human could prevent it. In this message from Matthew 2, Pastor Lutzer traces Satan's attempts to thwart God's redemptive plan. Why does God let Satan cause so much destruction?

Many of us count on others' opinions or our own accomplishments for our sense of worth. Just like Eve took the bite of fruit to be "like God," any sin or pride leads to horrific results. In this message, Pastor Lutzer celebrates the true worth granted through God's grace, lifting the lowly. We were made to find our value in our Maker.
