PRIORITY Q&A

Andrew D.

If no life existed in Silver’s future before he returned to the past to help fight against the Metal Virus, then how was he born? Does changing the future mean that he is instead creating an alternate future and traveling to that new one and ultimately leaving his original doomed future behind somewhere to remain doomed? And regardless, when he returned to his future to see no life and sparse metallic plant life, I find it hard that he didn’t touch anything at all. Was he super duper cautious and didn’t touch anything, not even the ground, or was the Metal Virus no longer contagious at that point in time? Why would animal life deteriorate but not plant life?

Diane W.

In the future altered by King Sonic, Shadow was the one who took down the Eggman Empire and became a tyrannical ruler for the sake of world peace until Sonic, Tails, and Lara-Su ended his reign. What were the events in the altered future that led to Shadow destroying Eggman and his Empire and beginning his tyrannical rule?

Chris A.

Hey ian so I’m wondering is there going to be a tv show or game based on pre reboot Archie Sonic I mean everyone would really love that and you get to see your old characters again?

AWF

Could Wisps be infected by the Metal Virus?

Ink Pants

Hi Ian. I was curious what your more personal thoughts might have been when you were gearing up to write Sally's multiple sacrifices (getting shot and roboticized) at the beginning of the Mecha Sally arc. Self-sacrifice screams Sally Acorn, but this was probably the single most devastating experience for the FF, and for many readers. I have to imagine that was a fairly painful/difficult story to write even with knowledge of how it would conclude. I know it punched a hole right through my heart.

Scruffymatt

There are a number of rom hacks available on the web which allow you to play Sonic games as different characters such as Shadow, Eggman, or Sally. There are even some official Sonic games where you can play as alternate characters, such as Knuckles in Sonic 2 or Tails in certain ports of Sonic CD. If you could choose any past Sonic game - classic or otherwise - to be altered or modded so that you could play as Tangle o...

Two-and-a-half years later, I'm still learning how to play Monster Hunter World.

1:20 - Did you know you can augment your armor to increase its defense? I didn't.

56:58 - The Pool was a fun movie but there were several moments that strained credulity.

7:04 PMmatthew wilsonI guess by the title some of the dlc bosses in mhw are giving you issues

7:04 PMmatthew wilsonor should I say not meeting your playstyle

7:07 PMmatthew wilsonyour last mhw story boiled down to the fact that end game bosses requires you to take them serously

7:07 PMjordan thompsonive been feeding an addiction for the ps2 as of late and theres a monster hunter game on the platform I may get around to

7:13 PMmatthew wilsontbf its kinda shocking mhw doesnt just have a combo list like fighting games

7:15 PMaddictedtochaosHello all.

7:17 PMmatthew wilsonwait you didnt know that?

7:17 PMaddictedtochaosStill need to give MHW a try.

7:19 PMmatthew wilsonseems like you missed something

7:19 PMmatthew wilsonsounds like you missed a conversation or tooltip somewhere

7:21 PMaddictedtochaosOut of curiosity is there an upcoming game that you are really looking forward to?

7:27 PMmatthew wilsonits also a game both disgined and marketed as coop

7:30 PMmatthew wilsonits the equvlent to a enrage timer, would you rather a insta kill instead?

7:34 PMS.O. BEASTyea i cant stand the guiding lands

7:35 PMjordan thompsonI just bought a decent looking space survival horror on the switch e shop and cause my Wi-Fi is through the hotspot on my phone I'll be playable in 17 hours after the download. I love life

7:35 PMmatthew wilsonthat makes sense naritivly, you have never been there

7:36 PMS.O. BEASTi still get lost in the forest area of the guiding lands.

7:37 PMmatthew wilsoncapcom has confirmed their next mh will be on switch, kinda wounder what they will do since mhw is way to complex to run on switch

7:38 PMmatthew wilsona name as nonsensical as the yakuza games themselves

7:38 PMmatthew wilsonside note yakuza 7 is getting a english dub, but I will be sticking with subs

7:39 PMjordan thompsonid also be guessing the japanese goverment doesn't want to glorify anything thats connected to the yakuza since its a real life criminal mob

7:41 PMmatthew wilsonI am just gunna ignore it and buy the base game

7:42 PMaddictedtochaosI think those may have been the only ones they showed gameplay for.

7:42 PMjordan thompsonyou should go to a console press event with a t shirt that says "gameplay?"

7:43 PMaddictedtochaosFor their flagship title and it has been in development for around 5 years it should look way better.

7:43 PMaddictedtochaosIn fairness Master Chief is his rank.

7:44 PMaddictedtochaosGrunts (squeaky) have been around since Halo 1.

7:44 PMjordan thompsonsoon enough we wont be able to call him master chief cause master refers to slavery and cheif refers to propreation ...

PRIORITY Q&A

Andrew D.

In the story, “Eggman’s Day Off”, from Sonic Annual 2020, Dr. Starline is looking at events happening through portals from the Warp Topaz. Were these events happening simultaneously? Also, those events took place after Dr. Starline had already started to have doubts about working for Dr. Eggman, yet in this story he still seems to be a big fanboy. Would you say this story takes place before the events seen in the portals and ignore the contents of what was seen, or would you say this takes place after those events seen in the portals and ignore Dr. Starline’s unwavering admiration of Dr. Eggman? Or perhaps you might have a different solution altogether?

AfroLuffyX

Since Webtoon series like tower of god and god of high school managed to have anime adaptations with the help of Crunchyroll, how would you feel If webtoon come to you and talk about Drogune getting animated series?

I know by the time I’m Writing this question there isn’t that much material to adapt, but! would you gave the staff The outline of the story you planned or allowed to staff to do their own thing with the material and how much creative input would you do?

Koopaling Krew

I know that Sonic is "the fastest thing alive". And Shadow seems to be about on par with Sonic's speed consistently. But I've noticed that his shoes have these sort of "boosters" on the soles whenever he runs. So my question to you is, is Shadow as fast as Sonic because of the aid of his special shoes? Or is Shadow naturally as fast as Sonic and his shoes' functions are for a different purpose?

Scruffymatt

A hypothetical question for you this week: if the Sonic cast decided to have a go at playing Dungeons and Dragons (or any other kind of tabletop RPG), what race and class do you think each of them would play? Would Tails be the dungeon master, or do you think someone else would better fit that role?

On a semi-related note, I'm curious as to whether Bumblekwest is still happening at some point in the future?

Nothing but positive topics to celebrate the 200th episode of Molehill Mountain!

Priority Q&A

Alex M.

...Will the female characters ever be the ones to lead the charge? You know like Amy, Tangle, Whisper, Cream, etc. With all the focus and dvelopment Cream has been having I would expect her to play a major role later on. Also, now that Metal virus is over, what will happen to the restoration? Will it always be a thing? Or will Amy end it/change it into something else?

Diane W.

In Sonic Universe #16, Espio brings up “The Sneak”, a name Sonic went under in StH #97 when he had to stay at Knothole under house arrest. How exactly does Espio know about this because, during that, Espio was on Angel Island along with Mighty and Vector when it was sent to a pocket dimension when the Dark Legion fired the Quantum Beam?

Markus A.

What are your thoughts on issue 94 of Archie Sonic and the idea of sonic And the Other freedom fighters going to School ? My opinion on the issue is Sonic going to school at that point in time in the book history was an Extremely a bad idea especially when Eggman is still alive and kicking plus they didn’t need to go to school and they could’ve written issue 94 about sonic and Co. getting jobs The whole issue Felt like I was reading a fanfic

Chris A.

Now that Archie sonic is gone would you bring all characters from archie sonic into idw sonic since they don’t have a home anymore like the knothole freedom fighters?

Scruffymatt

I've been doing a bit of thinking about the Sonic Mania timeline recently, and I'm wondering what it was that caused the timelines to split. For a few years I've been wondering about how classic Sonic is "from another dimension," but I recently came across the theory that the Time Eater snatching classic Sonic, Tails and Eggman in Sonic Generations created an alternate timeline - the Sonic Mania timeline, if you will. But now that this thing finally makes sense to me, I've started wondering what the cause of the timeline split is. What changed that made the Phantom Ruby appear in the Mania timeline, but not the main series timeline? Sonic and Tails got back to their own time at the end of the game in Generations, so that shouldn't have made a significant difference. Was the big change that classic Eggman was trapped in Whit...

And that's not even its worst quality.

0:18 - I didn't watch The Old Guard because it was over two hours long. The older I get, the less and less patience I have, it seems.

5:35 - Walmart institutes a mandatory mask policy... several months into a global pandemic.

39:42 - Swery demonstrates he knows how to apologize when he does a bad. His game, Deadly Premonition 2, did a bad.

47:54 - Ubisoft lied about not being able to use it's Ubisoft Forward presentation to address the fact that it has been harboring harassers, abusers and sexual predators for YEARS.
