Much like Legion from the New Testament, my state of being as a nineteen-year-old can be described as, "And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying and cutting himself with stones" (Mark 5:6). 

The healing Jesus Christ offered me was not instant. Instead, it started with angels. Angels on earth, people who knew how to give unrestrained and unconditional love. Come, listen to the beginning of the Lord's miracle in my life!

Though people and circumstances may lead us to believe that Christ has forsaken us, forgotten us, or betrayed our trust, He is still a God of miracles. Come see the miracles of Christ, both ancient and modern. He lives!

If I claim I believe God uses me to answer the prayers of others, then I also believe He uses others to answer my prayers. I cannot claim one and throw away the other. How, then, do you and I welcome the sacrifice of another with humility and gratitude?

Creating boundaries has nothing to do with kindness and everything to do with maintaining healthy and safe relationships. A person is not 'unkind' or 'mean' for refusing to tolerate the mistreatment of others.

When we compare ourselves to others we are focusing on everything we are not, which means we don't feel like we matter. We must focus our energy on becoming our best selves rather than worrying about what other people are or are not doing.
