Today is December 27, 2022. This is the last show of the year.  I am working on my Picking Berries socks aka my blueberry socks. The pattern for the berries I knitted into the socks is as follows. This is for the pattern of the berry only. You can repeat or change it however you want but I wanted to make sure you got an idea of what I was doing for the cuff.  This is expected you  have 18 stitches on each of your DPNs if you have less you can remove a knit stitch from either end to accomodate for less stitches. If you have more, just add knit stitches evenly across the front and end of the pattern for each row to accommodate.

I am still trying to find a yarn of nylon, acrylic, wool blend for the socks.  I talk about the socks I am working on and planning on finishing until I find the yarn I need for my homeless kits. I might start working on my second homeless kit although I have no sock yarn and at least get the hats and scarves done after I finish my picking berries socks. Today is December 19, 2022. It's Saint Nicholas Day.  I finished my first homeless kit scarf. I am still trying to find a yarn of nylon, acrylic, wool blend for the socks.  I talk about the socks I am working on and planning on finishing until I find the yarn I need for my homeless kits. I then talk about geneology of crafting and why it's important to know where we learned our crafts from. I also talk about how it's important to know and try a variety of crafts because you will never know what you like until you try several out.

Today is December 12, 2022.  I finished my first homeless kit hat. I am working on the scarf to go with the hat. I am in the search for a yarn that is acrylic, wool, and nylon to make socks to go in the kits.   I talk about the lack of retail help and the big name stores that I experienced this weekend. I then talk about how we all are like employees at our local shops especially in our yarn stores.  You never have to look for someone to help, you just need to turn your head and ask the person standing next to you. Today is November 28, 2022.  I am still working on Ben's hat.    I talked about how I am planning on knitting socks, hats and scarves for the homeless in my area. I talk about my Thanksgiving issue with Green Bean Casserole.  I also discuss a little about the Nativity Fast. On Black Friday, after going to the gym, I went to Yarnivore with my mother and picked up some beautiful yarn from Jody Long called Rovesoft. I found some colors that will be great to see in the dark. Today is November 21, 2022.  I finished my Fuzzy Socks.   I talked about how I am planning on knitting socks, hats and scarves for the homeless in my area.  I am using some yarn from my grandmother's stash and some yarn I bought with my mother at Unraveled. It is Berroco Sesame Color 7468. She is really excited that I am going to be doing this with her mother's yarn.  She told me she would have been proud of me for doing that. Today is November 13, 2022.  This about my WIP, also known as Fuzzy Socks. Today is November 06, 2022.  This about my WIP, also known as Fuzzy Socks. I talk about some self striping yarn that I purchased from Yarnivore, my local yarn store. I talked about how I am planning on knitting socks and if I can't find someone who wants them I will carry a spare in my car and if I find someone who is without socks, I will give them a pair to keep their feet warm since it's getting cold outside. I am also itching to do a hat so if I can't get it to fit me or my husband I will be making sure to keep in in the car as well.
