For this week’s episode, we originally planned to only talk about M. Night Shyamalan’s newest film, Knock at the Cabin (Peacock). But upon watching the movie, we were reminded of another ‘cabin’ movie that had more than a few similarities: Cabin in the Woods (HBOMax).  

So, we decided to combine the two into a joint discussion about the measures some people go to in order to prevent the apocalypse. 

The episode starts with us jumping right into the topic at hand and explaining how this double feature came about (0:07). 

Then, we talk about Knock at the Cabin (3:00), before talking about Cabin in the Woods and how these two movies are connected (30:51). 

Topics include: how to stop the apocalypse, what we would do in these scenarios, and how expectations can deceive how you really feel about a movie.
