Happy Halloween everyone!!
In the final episode of our Haunted Creators series, we speak to Jamie Waggoner, author of Hades: Myth, Magic and Modern Devotion. Jamie shares with us a captivating personal experience from one of the most mysterious places in England; we talk about how myth and legend can help us process our modern lives and even explore problematic themes; and Jamie draws upon her vast experience of working with the unseen to answer the question most asked by our listeners over our 10 years of podcasting… how to protect yourself when investigating, and encountering, the paranormal.

When we started putting together our Hallowbirthdayween series this year, we had no idea that one of our guests would bring us an incredible experience so close to home. Wed briefly explored before, but we decided that it was time to do this location justice with a classic KOFY Paranormal postcard, so join us as we explore …. The Ghosts of Lyveden. And be sure to check out the first of our spooky season shorts next episode, for a new eyewitness account that took place within these haunted walls!
In the penultimate episode of our Haunted Creator series, we hear from artist Holly, who shares some of their incredible paranormal experiences, and in which Fitz finds some parallels to his experiments with contacting the other side through white noise! We also chat about the inspirations behind Holly's art and their hopes for the future of visual storytelling, and Holly also lets us in on an upcoming spooky project they're planning, that we are very excited about!

We chat about balancing belief and scepticism, the role of supernatural storytelling in understanding the world around us, and get nerdy over paranormal research and theories.

In the fourth episode of our Haunted Creators series we speak to Peter Naldrett, author of Spooky Britain: The 100 Most Eerie and Mysterious Places to Visit. Peter shares with us the intriguing unexplained experiences that planted a seed of fascination with the supernatural, as well as his travels around Britain researching the haunted places that feature in his book, and we get nerdy over one of the paranormal's most under-valued research tools (in Lil's opinion) … maps!!

The episode we never thought we'd make!
We mistakenly thought there wasn't much to the story of the famous ghost photograph nicknamed 'The Brown Lady of Raynham', but after tripping over a juicy clue whilst researching a different episode, we were delighted to discover how wrong we were!
Join us for a tale of family feuds, family ghosts, the murky world of spirit photography, and a 300 year old mystery, as we dive into the hauntings of Raynham Hall!
Buckle up we're going on a road-trip!
It's coming up on a year now since we had to give up our beloved KOFYmobile and we're missing planning the year's camping and road-trip adventures like we normally would be doing in the first few months of the year.
We could probably all do with a little break from reality so, we're going on a pretend adventure – we're going to imagine our ideal haunted road-trip and take you all along for the ride. On the way there will be some choices to make, with outcomes that you can work in to your own imaginary story, to see how your paranormal adventure unfolds during the episode, or you can just listen along and enjoy the hearing about all the cool, and really haunted, locations we're going to dip into today. If you do want to join in you might want to have a regular 6-sided dice or a dice app handy, and perhaps a journal, notebook or writing implement, but we've designed this so that you can do all of this in your head, or of course, just listen along to the story.
The aim of the trip, on this occasion, is not the destination, but the journey itself, which will be choc-full of paranormal stops along the way. The idea of stopping off at as many haunted locations on our way to a given destination is actually how we've done our road trips ever since we started this show. We have always tried to maximise our time and petrol by fitting in as many spooky pit stops - and even overnights - in one journey as possible – so you will be getting a taste of a real KOFY road-trip … just … dialled up to 11!
