Clarity begins with you.
And, the first step is identifying where in your life clarity might be needed. Taking stock of all the things that are pertinent to one's personhood, parenting, partnership, and life, and then going inward to clarify what is needed will bring more alignment.
Together, Carrie and Kristen emphasize the importance of doing inner work to feel more fortified and connected to something bigger than oneself. They discuss how using daily prompts can help individuals tune in and tune up, including checking in on one’s brain state, weather inside, and body sensations.Carrie shares her process of taking a broad survey of what is going on in her life, identifying what requires her energy, and finding clarity around her intentions and essential practices for the season. She believes that regularly taking stock seasonally leads to a different level of fulfillment.
If you are looking for more clarity around your life, join Carrie for “Clarity with Carrie” what she deems as “yoga for the soul”. This new program offers four seasonal guidebooks with prompts and reminders, and a monthly 90-minute call to stay present and aware of life. The program is designed to help individuals get clear about what matters to them and be intentional about their lives. The program includes a reset every month, where individuals can explore themselves and their lives and continually ask themselves what matters.
What would change in your life if you dedicated 90 minutes a month to creating the life of your dreams?

Modern life is full, fast and loud. There are endless choices and decisions that need to be made, especially when parenting growing people. Cultivating the skills of finding clarity from within -- the ability to know and trust one's self, deeply -- is invaluable for several reasons. First, it brings awareness to what's truly meaningful. Living a satisfying life is very personal so being able to listen and clarify what matters allows for a sense of agency, fulfillment and aliveness. Second, clarity calms the fears that arise as a result of living in the 21st century and caring for the people who mean the most. Even though it can sometimes feel like it is, fear is not a requirement of parenting. When a parent knows how to find clarity from within, it quells and calms the worrying. Third, because there's no way to predict how life will unfold, modeling how to find clarity from within -- day by day, month by month and year by year -- is one of the most powerful things you can teach your children. By living with clarity, you are showing others how to handle all that life presents with presence, calm and confidence.

It's changing too fast. However, by modeling clear boundaries and self-knowing, you can teach them what it means to be a healthy, aligned, compassionate human while bringing more ease and connection to family life.

Young people today are growing up with devices and technology in a way that most adult people never did. It’s a part of our lives whether we want it or not, so taking the time to examine what’s really happening with you, and your children when it comes to screen time is an important step in moving toward a healthy relationship with technology. In this episode, Kristen and I talk about how parents can shift from a place of fear to appreciation, concern to curiosity, and manager to mentor.

It all starts with you. Being the guide for your kids requires a certain level of consideration and clarity of your habits. In this episode, we discuss the importance of sorting out your own relationship with devices and technology. We know one thing for sure, they are always watching! In order to be a steady guide for your children, understanding how devices add to, or take away, from your own life is the first step. Showing them through your own exploration and experimentation models for them a way of being with devices that is thoughtful and discerning. The self-awareness and clarity you cultivate around your relationship with technology is a gift to you and your people.

What would it mean to feel clear, calm and confident in your role as the family guide navigating the ever-changing landscape of technology? In this episode, Carrie and Kristen dive into one of the top parenting struggles of today: devices. It’s the aspect of modern life that has most parents tangled up. Guess what? This parenting thing can feel really good. As Carrie wraps up this mini-series, she reviews some of her foundational concepts (understanding the nervous system, self-awareness, transcending fear, finding your way, etc.). Turns out that in the midst of all of this child development there’s a lot of parent development going on, too. We’re evolving, growing, and learning right alongside our kids. How cool is that?
