FEATURED SEGMENT : Darren Auck (illustrator and former Marvel Comic Illusrator) joins us in the studio to talk HORROR MOVIES with Jim.  Jim tells us what his favorite horror movies are.

SEGMENT 3 : Horror Trivia.  Mike asks Darren & Jim some horror trivia questions.  Play along .. see if you can get them all right .. bet you can't!

Jim and Mike INTERVIEW Prop Master, Actor, Singer  - Mark A Richardson

Mark is an actor, musician and prop master.  He's worked on such movies as The Devil's Rejects, Rob Zombie's HALLOWEEN, Pirahna 3-D and the tv shows Power Rangers (he created all the props for the show) and the current tv show Queen of the South.  

He's also the lead singer in the bands Hypnotics and 647F.  Hypnotics had a slight novelty hit with "Jerry's on Drugs" which was played on Dr. Demento (we play some of the song).

FEATURED SEGMENT : INTERVIEW with Claude S. of the band ANYTHING BOX (1990 epic recording artist) talking about his early days and the beginning of his band.

Claude also shares memories from back in 1988 when Jim's band opened for them at a small club in Allentown, PA.  We also talk about the recording process and touring.

Segment 3: INTERVIEW with up and coming artist JUSTIN SKYLER talking about his song "Let me help you out" and his new album "Village Idiot" (out now)

Today we interview with KURT REIL and RICK REIL from the great New Jersey Band THE GRIPWEEDS!

Our FEATURED SEGMENT is our Interview with CHUCK NEGRON (formerly of Three Dog Night).  Chuck tells us of his beginnings playing basketball, the Rondells, three dog night, puppets, John Wayne and what he's been up to recently.. we also play one of chuck's recent recordings.

On today's show we start off with a new music segment called "ODD SONGS" - today we talk about the 1971 hit song "Timothy" about 3 guys who get trapped in a coal mine and end up eating Timothy. Written by Rupert Holmes (The pina colada song) this is truly an "odd song". Bill Kelly (lead singer of the Buoys and lead singer on Timothy) talks about his time in the recording studio working on Timothy.

Jazz Pianist Jay Rowe talks about his beginnings in music, meeting Pat DiNizio and his collaboration with Pat on his 2006 album "THIS IS PAT DINIZIO", we also talk about The Smithereens, Jay's benefit concert "Smooth Jazz for Scholars" and what he's been up to lately.

On today's show Jim and Mike talk all about MUSIC with the top 10 singles from May 16th, 1970, Music History May 16th, and cover two fairly obscure 70s bands THE GROUNDHOGS and QUATERMASS, also some Music Trivia and a (sort of guest appearance by Sir Paul McCartney 

Today we talk about the Corona Virus (Covid 19), The Spanish Flu and comparisons with modern day influenza.  We also let everyone know what we've been up along with some celebrity talk and Jim is concerned about Ben Affleck.

Today we talk about the odd book "Jacob's Folly" by Rebecca Miller.   A (18th century) man is re-incarnated as a fly (and comes back in present time.   Also "America's top 40", "Music History" and "Music to Music" (where we compare two songs)
