In this episode of the podcast of the podcast we talked about Ready Player One, a movie that I swore to avoid until Twich mentioned that he wanted to talk about it one week. I saw the trailer and it didn’t really appeal to me. I was not expecting to love it half as much as I did. Going into it I was expecting a playful romp with cheesy romance and I got exactly what I expected. Yet it was elevated to some extreme that I have a hard time sitting here and putting it into words. I have always been a sucker for romance in films, even cheese ball romance. Ready Player One, for me, goes above and beyond anything I was expecting.

Something that Twich and I wanted to do with our comeback was to show that we didn’t take this time off as a vacation. So we revampt everything, from the ground up. I produced all the new music, subject to change in the future though. I also redid the graphics. And that’s something I’m pretty crazy about.

At 1:06:36 I went off on my nostalgia rant, so if you are looking for a millenials view (no one is) on nostalgia in the internet.

Notes on the music during the quiz: While editing I realized I hated the quiz music, so next week we will have new quiz music!

Thanks for listening this week, I hope to at some point get better at the show notes and figure out what you are actually put in these. So please let me know!

We are coming back! It's been a long month without recording but Twich is finally coming home an we are almost ready to put new episodes back out! We are so excited to return with new guests, music, graphics, and new topics. We are also bringing back the Know Something Quiz!

See you August 23rd!

I saw Attack on Titan season 3 last night and I am very anxious to put this out to the internet. I wanted to talk about how things have changed for Attack on Titan in the last 7 years that it has been out. A lot of tone changes have occurred and it's important that we look at how the fanbase has taken that too.

Song at the end - By Your Side -Craves

Song throughout - A Night of Dizzying Spells - Eric Sciff

This week on the show we get a little organized! And talk about my first superhero movie I REALLLYYYY loved. Deadpool 2, and the Alamo Draft house... Partner us Alamo Draft House please.

This week for the podcast we do another rant, I know I know you just LOVE these, but actually have the best of times talking to each other off script. Some of the stuff we talked about is Star Wars (duh) Me peeing my pants, Lady Bird, game of thrones, and legion, and writing in general.

We hope you enjoy this weeks episode!
