Not just between us, but with our families and communities as well. When you know the career goals of your team members, you are able to start nurturing their career aspirations. As a business leader, I have learned just how important it is that I am aware of the career goals of my team members. Talking with your team members about their short-term and long-term goals is a great way to cultivate trust, loyalty, and engagement among team members. Likewise, it allows leaders to be more prepared to help employees achieve their personal and professional goals. Even temporary workers can become brand ambassadors if they have a great experience.
