In today's podcast, we will look at how we see the world AKA our perspective - 
Most of the time people do not take time to learn about how they see the world because it is how they see it. Once you start to learn how you became you then you can improve your world.

Best to explain as we talk about three broad categories that we form a lot of our perspectives around – 

Family influence on perspective (Learned or rejected)

  1. Influence 
    • Social 
    • Racial identity or not 
    • Racial inclusion or racism 
    • Friendly helpful or distant and self-caring
    • Importance of family interactions or not
    • The value of friendship or not  
    • Gender roles or not 
  2. Religion
    • Faith or no faith 
    • Religious rituals or not 
    • Impact on life choices or not 
  3.  Foods
    • Experimental or not 
    • Healthy or not 
  4. Holidays
    • Important or not 
    •  For kids or both or no one 
    • Family time or not 

Life Experiences 

  1. Trauma
    • Emotional
    • Physical 
    • Sexual 
    • Verbal  
    • Poverty, middle class or wealthy - 

Social influence

  1. Peer groups 
    • Influence perspective again by embracing or rejecting
    • Generational views 
    • pop-culture 
    • mass-media stereotyping
    • Tik-Tok or not --- 

So you can see that as we journey through life we embrace or reject perspectives that we have been exposed to – some by choice others by force – but those that we embrace as OUR perspective all have a core from someplace in our journey –
