The Holy Spirit brings new life to dying creatures. The new life enables the Spirit to speak and do through us. Pentacost is the time when the Church was born and the Spirit poured out on the beleivers.

Jesus' ascension launched the thrilling and risky adventure that became the Church. We join in it by waiting and praying, and then obeying the Holy Spirit.

As Jesus ascended to heaven he resumed his role as the One who holds all of creation together. He also assumes that we will carry out the mission assigned to us on earth.

"In Him we live and move and have our being" - That means we are one with God and each other.
