Repentance can be a word that strikes fear in the heart of man, but it should not be. It is NOT about being punished, but about being set free by the grace and mercies of God. To know Jesus, we need to "go there" with Him. Go to the inner most places of darkness where we justify our feelings of hate and unforgiveness. Unforgiveness easily becomes a bitter root that then defiles so many our other relationships, Hebrews 12:15.
