So often, we wait to give something to God because we think that what we have is not enough. But He asks us, like He did Moses, what is in your hand? It is what we have that He longs to take and use for His glory, not what we want to have. So take a look and see what you have and see what He will do with it.

We are all so pleased when we do something right, and most of us are pleased if 95% of what we do is right. We are not perfect, but I wonder if we are experiencing satisfaction and contentment when we shouldn't be? Just a question that I think we all need to ponder.

So often we get stuck in what and who we think we are that we forget that God has a different idea about that. He offers us, in Himself, everything we need to change and become more like Jesus. It is His work in us.

"Cachi Bachi" is a Bolivia slang word for that stuff in your junk drawer or things that are being sold at a yard sale. Most of us have a drawer or a place in our homes for that "stuff" that we don't have the energy to deal with right now.

We have been taught that we can do anything, and to a certain extent, we can. But some things require a dependence on God instead of the proverbial independence that we are encouraged to have.

You ever find yourself face down with no one to help. Be encouraged, you don't have to stay there, and you are not alone. Together we will make it.

Which of us doesn't need an attitude check every once in a while? Thankfully we have a God who is not only concerned that become like Christ, but He has chosen to work that work in us, and He does it with great patience. He is concerned for our souls, and for that, we should be grateful.
