I talk about how I had convinced myself that I'm still too new in my job to be of any use at the new student registration night. Part of that might come from seeing how I'm treated and have been treated compared to how upper management have treated my boss when she joined the school. While people express appreciation for what I do, it's abundantly clear that I am a low man on the totem pole. So that translates to me feeling like I don't know what I'm doing at work, but it turns out that I know plenty. Which feels good on the one hand and then bums me out that I have so little confidence in myself and my abilities on the other hand.
