On this episode of Knowing Me, Knowing You, Trent and Dave begin a two-part series on better understanding chemsex, our relationship to it and how we can heal it.

The boys are joined by Founder of Queer Recovery Coaching, Andrew Moses, and together they discuss a range of areas related to chemsex, including:

  • Andrew’s lived experience and how it informs the work he does,
  • Defining what “chemsex” actually is,
  • The relationship between dating apps and chemsex,
  • Whether the chemsex subculture is different across the world,
  • What some of the key drivers are for substance use, as well as
  • Why chemsex has become so prevalent in the gay community.
