    Overcoming Folly - Part 38
    "The Origins of Temptation"
    With Rabbi Ari Sollish
(Recorded live at the Intown Jewish Academy on November 14, 2021)
Life certainly seems rigged sometimes. It can feel that the deck is stacked against us morally and spiritually. It's hard to do what we know is right when what's wrong feels so good.
Which might understandably evoke some frustration. Why does it have to be this way? Why is it so hard to live an upright and purposeful life? Why is it easier to slip into our lower self than to rise into our higher self?
In this session of Kabbalah & Coffee, we explore the origins of temptation. We learn about the cosmic source of our basest desires and see how they match up against our purer selves. Along the way we learn about the origins of life, the emergence of the soul, the significance of lifecycle milestones, and the meaning of the mystical realms of Tohu and Tikun.
