Learning How to Love - Part 42
    "Once Upon a Time"
    With Rabbi Ari Sollish
(Recorded live in Atlanta on September 13, 2020)
Rosh Hashanah is the anniversary of the beginning of time. Well, not the absolute beginning, but the beginning of the emergence of human beings entrusted with the ultimate mission for which creation came into being.
So it's a pretty big day -- with a lot to reflect on.
Reflecting on the beginning can also inspire us to wonder about what was before the beginning. What did pre-beginning reality look like? Was there even a "thing" called reality?
In this edition of Kabbalah & Coffee we explore Rosh Hashanah themes and meditations, and peel back layer after layer of spiritual realms until we reach back before the beginning of time. We discover how our reality is but the shadow-state of a primordial truth, and how the binary constructs of light and darkness are not as rigid as we might otherwise believe.
