This week in our sermon, we will be looking into Colossians 1:15-20.
A major theme in our sermons series we are calling "Revealed: The Image of the Invisible" has been the emphasis that Paul gives to the knowledge of God. Knowing God is what salvation is, and increasing and being filled with the knowledge of God is what we need for a life that is pleasing to Him.
And Jesus is the perfect revelation of this God we should seek to know.
There are many different views on Jesus’ nature, and this is nothing new; throughout Church history, there were plenty of different philosophical views on the divinity of Christ, not questioning his existence nor his name, but questioning His nature. Even today, there are many so-called "Christian" groups and "churches" that preach a Jesus that is very different from the Jesus we find in the Scriptures.

This weekend in our series "Revealed: The Image of the Invisible," we will focus on Colossians, chapter 1, verses 11-14.
In this sermon, we will continue to study Paul’s prayer for the church in Colossae. As we saw last week, Paul prayed that they would be filled with the knowledge of the will of God in order to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord.
Now, we will further understand what it means to walk in a way fully pleasing to God and the reason why we dare to pursue that.

This weekend in our series "Revealed: The Image of the Invisible," we will be focusing on Colossians, chapter 1, verses 9 to 11. 🔥
In this sermon, we will discuss how we can grow closer to the Lord. This is a subject of great relevance for the Christian since now that we were saved, all we want is to honour Him and grow in the likeness of Him, but how do we do that?

In this second sermon, we will look at the fruit of the true gospel. In order to do this, we will explore the themes of faith, love, the nature of Jesus and what success looks like for a local church.

This weekend, we have started our series "Revealed: The Image of the Invisible." in which we will be studying the book of Colossians. 🔥And in this first gathering, we will be focused on the first two verses of this letter. We will explore together these two simple verses because they are very important for us to understand the rest of the letter, but not just that. These verses contain very important truths that are as essential for our lives today as it was for the Colossian church.
