We have a long, wet Christmas week ahead of Southern California. It starts Tuesday, and gets heavy Tuesday night, with a second potential round of heavier rain on Christmas Day -- and showers through Saturday. There are evacuation warnings for the Palisades and Eaton fire areas, but National Weather Service Chief Meteorologist Dr. Ariel Cohen says that's not the main focus -- it's a broader threat.

We could get four oor more inches between late Tuesday and the Day after Christmas. If that happens, we could see major problems with flooding or debris flows on roads and near burn zones. KNX News' Pete Demetriou reports.
