There is a Japanese story called Kobutoriji-san. I happened to have a chance to watch this Kobutori Grandpa video on YouTube. When I read Kobutori Grandpa as a child, I didn't think anything of it. But when I thought about this folk tale again, I started to see the characteristics that most Japanese people look for in a salesman.
