During this week, Pastor Tony stopped in to share about the upcoming Columbia evangelism mission trip (!!!) Regarding 2 Peter, we see Peter's description of the false teachers' behavior (part 1). 

Peter discusses false teachers who have abandoned the faith. Using various Old Testament examples, Peter highlights the principle that there is certain judgement coming for the wicked and certain salvation coming for the righteous. 

In a final act of faithfulness, Peter reminds readers of the Scriptural certainty of Jesus' return as confirmed by Peter's Transfiguration experience. 

During this episode, we hear from 2 Peter regarding qualities which characterize the life of a Christian and can subsequently provide assurance of our salvation.
