It was with great sadness we heard this week of the demise of one of the greatest scholars of our time, the teacher of teachers & scholars in the UK and around the world, the pioneer of establishing Islamic sciences in the Western Hemisphere and a point of reference for thousands of scholars, Shaykh al-Hadīth, Sayyidunā Hazrat Maulana Yusuf Motala (Radhiyallāhu Ta’ālā Anhu).  Hazrat passed away after Maghrib on the 10th of Muharram in Canada whilst on his travels.
