On this episode, K has a conversation with her father, Arron Pinkney, about the rebuilding of his life after a hard time and how others can also rebuild their lives after their hardships. Furthermore, they discuss how to end recidivism among young people and K ends the episode with a positive moment. 

On part 2, K and her best friend, Eyen, continue their conversation about how they have maintained a healthy friendship over the years. They also, discuss how to deal with difficulties within friendships. Furthermore, K ends the episode with her K Moment and her Positive Moment. 

On the first part of this episode, K will be sitting down at a park to discuss friendship with her best friend, Eyen. They'll talk about how they've maintained their friendship for so many years and how they handle difficult situations within their friend groups. Part 2 will be available on Thursday, July 9.

On this final part of episode 1, K closes with a K Moment and a Positive Moment. In her K Moment, K reflects about her previous attempts of recording her K Moment for episode 1. She reflects about how an emotional and temporary feeling can lead to a permanent dent in your character. Also, she announces a change to the show and ends on a positive moment. 

On this continuation of episode 1, K and her mother, Tamika, end their conversation in a discussion about race in America. Also, they engage in a discussion about the abolish the police vs. defund the police debate.  

On the first episode, K sits down and talks with her mother, Tamika Wilkerson. They discuss how COVID-19 has effected their lives. Also, they discuss the political climate in America, as America heads into the 2020 presidential elections. Part 2 on July 2.
