The Burn & Beyond is one of the highest trails in the area, high above Kokanee Creek Park, near Nelson, BC. Canada.

It's not often you get the chance to ride in a helicopter for the first time and then ride some great trails. 10 Riders head up to the Burn & Beyond, above Kokanee Creek Park, near Nelson, BC. Canada. 5 Riders leave Nelson Airport and are dropped off at the top. The Heli returns with 10 bikes, which it drops off. Heli then returns a final time, with the remaining 5 riders.

One of the newer trails in the area, Power Slave features a great viewpoint, plenty of bermed single-track, steep loose sections and awesome roller coaster wood work. Well worth the extra hike up. This video shows the lower section of trail.

Starting 1/2 way down Placenta, illuminati is a mix of loamy single track and off-camber traverses. A great alternative to the final fault-line descent of Placenta.

Skiers Right is a nice way to finish a longer Giveout road descent. Less peddling and more forgiving than the well established Pulmonary Trail.

Brushed out in the early 2008 season, Afternoon Delight offers plenty of rock slabs connected by short sections of single-track. Great warm up for 'Morning Sickness' which starts below.

Morning Sickness is a recent addition to the network of trails above Kokanee Creek Park. Swift single track connects a series of intermediate to fairly advanced rock slabs.
