Ben is the unofficial docent of hemp conceptual products, hemp media, and hemp history. Budtender Brielle and her BFF Alex pepper Ben with questions about products derived from hemp, and Ben shares mind-blowing factoids like where the term “yellow journalism” comes from, as well as which European car manufacturers are already using hemp in their automobiles.

Budtender Brielle and her BFF Alex welcome friend-of-the-show Stephen Gold from Daily Leaf Deals and their mutual friend Adrian Kimberley, who is head of the Mason-re team. Adrian is a musician and rising ganjapreneur best known for having revolutionized the cannabis “stash jar.” His team’s patented Re:stash jar is comprised of a mason jar, a silicone koozie and a patent-pending child proof lid. Portland's premiere Astro Coach & Artist Vanessa Couto swings by Saturday With Mary Jane to give Alex an update on September's astrological forecast. One of the main takeaways is that the planet Mercury is in retrograde, so it is a great opportunity to review circumstances in one's life and, in some cases, how it might be prudent to go back to the drawing board. She also mentions that the cannabis industry and the nation at large are in a liminal stage, and the seeds we plant in this month will bear fruit in October and November.
