Carrera/Jaeger uses Kovacs Prime, to track Kovacs. Kovacs Prime battles Kovacs, besting him and throwing him off a cliff. Poe investigates the Renouncers and discovers Konrad never Renounced and they were being paid to agree to the lie. Poe barely escapes using his internal glitch to infect the Renouncers system. Trepp reunites with her father who is subsequently killed by Kovacs Prime. Kovacs Prime attacks the hotel and extracts information from Dig despite a courageous effort from the AI to protect humans.
