A Dynamic Duo

Farsi Show goes around the city to be a bridge between you and the cultural, literature, and arts events. An artist couple, a teacher couple, and an active couple make these two musicians a very special duo. Arezo Kouchakan is a music instructor in a Los Angeles music school, as well as founder and leader of Ladies’ Daff Group. Ladies’ Daff Group had its first performance with the Iranian super star AREF in the Dolby Theater, and in recently in Canada. Arezo will play Daff for Farsi show listeners, and discuss her experience on stage with one of the biggest Iranian pop singers. Vandad Massehzadeh a proprietor and director of Melody Kohen Music school, Director of Artists Home Music, and director and conductor of Koban group. Former music instructor in music school in Iran. Vandad had more than 300 performance in Iran and around the world. He will share his opinion about Iranian classic and folklore music and plays live for our listeners. Vandad is author of two books about music instruments.

This episode features Contestant #1 Summer Sharaga- a freelance special effects makeup artist, and Contestant #2- Josiah Woods, a basketball player and college student.
