I'm in love. Dr Sarah Gardner makes her entrance and exit gracefully and quickly in this one episode - I think we see her again like maybe twice? I love everything about her. I wish to Ra they had made HER a recurring character instead of Dr Robert Rothman. Also, by the way, #Martinwasright. There are buried alien spaceships and shit left ALL OVER the earth, buried random Goauld places. Grrr.

Ground control to Colonel O'Neill! An excellent episode ripping off "Apollo 13" including obligatory "mission successful, throw your papers into the air at Mission Control" scene by legendary drama director Peter Deluise. Just great, great stuff, this one!

I AM SO FUCKING ANGRY at the bullshit in this episode. #Martinwasright. Luckily for Stargate, it also contains some of the greatest funny moments of the entire franchise in the form of MURRAY!!!!

Woah, what a weird one. Lots of dystopian metropolis stuff.. working you to death underground while we brainwash you. Nice! AND OF COURSE SO MANY SNUGGLES WITH JACK AND SAM! SO. MANY. SNUGGLES!

This is a really weird episode...the relationships we have spent all of Season 4 setting up are just tossed aside, and it's back to "yes sir no sir' between Jack and Sam. Teal'c is unnecessary and Daniel.... well Daniel is doing what Daniel does best. Get lost and lag behind and jepoardising the whole mission because he wanted to talk to the shiny alien robot thing.

It's the first and definitely not the last Stargate episode to rip off the movie ENEMY MINE! And good fucking riddance to Rothman because as I laid out clearly in the episodes Forever In A Day and Crystal Skull he was not officially canon! GRRR!!!!! Moon chant, what was I thinking?

Favourite weasel Maybourne returns for the big reveal -- THE RUSSIANS HAVE A GATE PROGRAM! A real throwback to Hunt For Red October, Dr Strangelove, all those classic FILTHY COMMIE RUSKIES movies and books. I'm waiting for the Dr. Svetlana Markhov spinoff series!

This episode has some FABULOUS conversations and one-liners, but somehow the big picture leaves me a little unsatisfied? I suppose just that they FINALLY confront the O'Neill-Carter relationship only to sweep it under the rug immediately. And iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii will always love yoooooooooooooooooooouuuuuu.  Hopefully, this will be the last appearance of Ms Tokra McBoobies.
