A Dallas County small business is singing the praises of a new countywide program aimed to help with the rising costs of childcare. Dallas County launched the program this year.

An Afghanistan citizen living in Fort Worth who threatened to kill Americans in a video call has been federally charged. 30-year-old Mohammad Dawood Alokozay has been charged with transmitting a threatening communication in interstate commerce.

The U.S. Postal Service is using new equipment at its regional transfer hub in Dallas to process packages more quickly. USPS says the "multi induct matrix sorter" will increase capacity from 400,000 packages a day to 1.4 million.
