Some House republicans are not happy with how the so-called "Big Beautiful Bill" left the Senate with the number of changes made to it. Congressman Keith Self of North Texas says House Speaker Mike Johnson warned the senate not to send back a bill that was materially different than what the House originally passed.

The deadly chain-reaction crash over the weekend on I-20 in Kaufman County has claimed another life. Five people in an Ford F-150 were killed and a sixth person was killed in a Jeep Compass. DPS says the driver of a semi truck at fault for the crash fell asleep.
