The Texas Attorney General says his office has resolved a lawsuit with a North Texas school district. Attorney General Ken Paxton says his office has resolved the lawsuit with Coppell ISD after the district took measures to make sure that critical race theory will not be taught in classrooms.

A persistent, active weather pattern will continue through Tuesday, bringing waves of showers and thunderstorms across the area. The heaviest rain is expected between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., moving west to east. The risk of severe weather remains very low. A flood watch remains in effect throughout the day.

After a beautiful weekend, shower and thunderstorm chances increase this week, and some of them may become severe. A new Flood Watch has been issued for much of North Texas for Tuesday.
