Josh Planos, APR, is the Vice President of Communications & Public Relations for the Better Business Bureau. He serves as the spokesperson of BBB’s International Investigations Initiative, and oversees and executes all internal and external communication efforts. His writing has been published by FiveThirtyEight, the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal and the Washington Post, among other news outlets. He was recognized among the Midlands Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Class in 2022. He is a 2014 graduate of the College of Journalism & Mass Communications where he majored in Advertising and Public Relations as well as in English and Communications. He spoke with Campus Voices as part of a special series on the future of the media and communications industries.

Dr. Ronnie D. Green is the 20th Chancellor of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where he oversees an enrollment of over 25,000 students and 6,000 faculty and staff.

Green previously led the university's Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources (since 2010), and served as interim Senior Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, the university's highest academic office, from 2015 to 2016.

A Virginia native, he received bachelor's and master’s degrees in animal science from Virginia Tech and Colorado State University, respectively. His doctoral program was completed jointly at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the USDA-ARS U.S. Meat Animal Research Center in animal breeding and genetics.

He has announced he will retire from the university by June of this year, or sooner if his replacement is found.

Nathan Hé is Assistant Director for Alumni Engagement for the Nebraska Alumni Association. A 2018 graduate of the UNL College of Journalism & Mass Communications, he coordinates a variety of programs for the Alumni Association including the alumni of color network, the pride alumni network, the first-gen alumni network and the international alumni network plus helping with diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives on a variety of levels.

Jenna Johnson is the deputy democracy editor for the Washington Post. A graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Journalism & Mass Communications, she helps lead the Post's team that focuses on threats to the electoral process and battles over the right to vote. She previously worked as a national politics reporter, covering the 2016 and 2020 presidential elections. She returned to the UNL campus to deliver the college's annual Seline Lecture on April 11, and also recorded this episode of Campus Voices.

Jane Chen is a globally recognized entrepreneur, inventor, and speaker. She is co-founder & CEO of Embrace Global, which developed a groundbreaking, low-cost infant incubator that has saved over 350,000 babies. Embrace has been featured by the New York Times, CNN, Newsweek, the Guardian, and ABC’s 20/20. Chen is a TED speaker and a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum. She was selected for Forbes' Impact 30, the Economist Innovation Award, and the Fast Company Innovation Award, and was recognized as Social Entrepreneur of the Year. Chen also served on the Board of Directors of the Center for Humane Technology. She was a guest speaker at the E.N. Thompson Forum on Tuesday, March 28, 2023.
