City N°8: RABAT (The Capital)

A big city in Morocco with more than 1.5 million people living in it. But, unfortunately I didn't have a chance to discover it very well, exept some times in 2014 when I went there for aome college stuff. And the most important thing are the people that I met there, and they affected my life, even now we don't talk like the old days or we don't talk anymore.

It deserves a special Mix, and the music that I will play for this city, is the one that I like to listen to in the early morning or lately in the night, right before going to bed. I'm talking about Electronica and DownTempo music. I think, this is the first city that I will do a Mix for, then I will go check it out after.

City N°7: Casablanca (Into the Deep)

I just lost the words to write about this city. Yes, I was born in Safi. But, when it comes to how I became the man I am today, Casablanca is the most involved city. This city taught me how to live with others and how to live alone. Without Casablanca I couldn't be able to write you this post.

Every time, I talk about Casablanca, I say “The city of Extremism”, a lot of contrast. In one place you can have dinner with only 5 Dirhams, but few buildings far from that place you can have dinner with 500 Dirhams .. or more !

The most amazing thing about my life experience in Casablanca, is that I lived the big part of it by night .. And what you see by night you can't see it by day, even by coincidence. Casablanca makes you think a lot, and it can gives your life a deep meaning. I tried many things for the first time in Casablanca, and every time I do something .. I think about the first time in that city.

This Mix, is not only about music, but it's about my feelings every time I think about that city or when I'm there chilling in it. Casablanca & Deep House take me to another dimension, to another world, a clean and calm world .. A world which only one person lives in; Me.
