  • 0035S - 1 John 3 - Becoming Battle-Ready Disciples: From Faith to Fidelity - Sermon

Need Prayer? Send us a text on how we can pray for you!

As warriors for Christ, we deliberately submit our entire lives to God rather than accidentally wading through our Christian walk. True discipleship requires intentional commitment in six key areas: faith, family, fitness, fundamentals, finances, and fellowship.

    • Daily Bible study and prayer form the foundation of our relationship with God
    • Deliberately pouring into family members, even during challenging seasons when it's difficult
    • Maintaining functional fitness to protect ourselves and those entrusted to our care
    • Continuous learning and skill development to become valuable assets to community and church
    • Using financial resources as kingdom assets rather than making wealth our ultimate goal
    • Actively pursuing fellowship against the modern tendency toward isolation
    • Maintaining fidelity to Jesus first, then to our spouses and communities through keeping our word

In 1 John 3, we discover that children of God are recognized by righteous actions and love for others. When our hearts condemn us, we must remember God is greater than our hearts. Sin is lawlessness and rebellion against God's order, which Christ came to destroy.

True love manifests in deeds, not just words. If we have resources to help brothers and sisters in need but close our hearts against them, how can God's love abide in us? Faith without works is dead.

Practice regular spiritual "after action reports" - confess what you did wrong, realign with God's word, and press forward. Don't fight alone but find accountability partners to watch your back. Scan your heart for unloving attitudes just as a warrior scans for physical threats.

We launched the War Council, a Christian fellowship program where believers invest in one another, fight each other's battles, celebrate victories, and learn from setbacks across the seven battlefields of faith, family, fitness, fundamentals, finance, fellowship, and fidelity.

    • The seven battlefields concept encompasses your entire life and requires deliberate action
    • Finding masculine discipleship in Christianity is challenging but essential
    • Warriors have a special place in God's heart throughout scripture
    • Shield maidens (Christian women warriors) balance being priestess, wife, mother, homesteader, and protector
    • The 90-day "forging" discipleship program starts August 4th
    • Christian warrior training at our 44-acre Tennessee farm welcomes visitors and potential community members
    • Fellowship is critical - Ken Graves says only one in ten Christian friendships will endure

  • 0033S 1 John 2 - Walking in Light: Authentic Christianity in a Dark World - Sermon

Need Prayer? Send us a text on how we can pray for you!

Pastor Jason explores 1 John 2, unpacking what authentic Christianity looks like and how believers can discern whether their faith is genuine through their actions and love for others.

    • Christians have an advocate in Jesus Christ who paid for our sins completely
    • True knowledge of God is demonstrated through obedience to His commandments
    • Loving other believers is non-negotiable and shows we walk in the light
    • We must not love the world's system or its temptations (lust of flesh, lust of eyes, pride of life)
    • The Holy Spirit's anointing enables believers to discern truth from false teaching
    • Living righteously demonstrates we are born of God
    • As Christians, we are called to be light in our homes, workplaces, and communities
    • Walking closely with Christ feels like being "on rails" – aligned with our purpose

Join us for the upcoming War Council fellowship at 9pm Wednesday, and our first Forging 90-Day Challenge beginning Monday, August 4th, where we'll focus on deliberately pursuing God in faith, family, fitness, finances, fundamentals, fellowship, and fidelity.

  • 0032S 1 John 1 - Confess and Conquer: Why Christian Warriors Need War Councils - Sermon

Need Prayer? Send us a text on how we can pray for you!

Are you struggling to make progress in your Christian walk? The solution might be simpler—and more challenging—than you think.

In this powerful teaching from 1 John 1, we unpack the transformative truth that "God is light and in Him is no darkness at all." This isn't just theological theory; it's a practical reality that affects every aspect of our relationship with God and fellow believers.

We explore the revolutionary concept of forming a "War Council"—trusted Christian brothers and sisters who know your full testimony and provide genuine accountability. When we bring our sins, struggles, and secrets into the light through transparent confession, we experience a freedom that no self-help program can match. As one warrior put it: "Confession puts the nail in the coffin and puts it to bed—it's the most freeing thing you'll ever do."

The early church faced external persecution and internal heresies, yet John's remedy wasn't complex strategies but simple truth-telling. Today, we face our own battles, but the solution remains the same. Walking in the light means regular confession, mutual accountability, and steadfast fellowship.

We also introduce our upcoming 30-day challenge to advance on all seven God-given battlefronts: Faith, Family, Fitness, Finances, Fundamentals, Fellowship, and Fidelity. Whether you're struggling with unconfessed sin, difficult relationships, health issues, mounting debt, isolation, or addiction—this challenge provides the structure and community you need to make real progress.

Ready to stop letting your prayers bounce off the ceiling? Join us in forming your War Council and experiencing the life-changing power of walking in God's light. Your breakthrough awaits.

  • 0031S Armed With Truth: Forging Warriors Through Catechism - Sermon

Need Prayer? Send us a text on how we can pray for you!

The battlefield of faith demands warriors who know exactly what they believe and why. In a world bombarding us with competing voices and endless distractions, many Christians struggle to articulate the foundations of their faith—leaving them vulnerable when challenges come.

This episode introduces the Christian Warrior Mission's powerful framework for developing battle-ready disciples through deliberate advancement on seven God-given fronts: Faith, Family, Fitness, Finances, Fundamentals, Fellowship, and Fidelity. Like a spiritual special forces training program, this approach forges men and families who stand unshakable when cultural chaos erupts around them.

At the heart of spiritual preparation lies catechism—the ancient practice of embedding foundational truths through questions and answers that sharpen conviction and steel the soul. We explore the first five essential questions every Christian warrior must know: What is your life? Whom do you serve? Who is the Father? Who is Jesus Christ? Who is the Holy Spirit? Each question builds upon biblical truth with practical applications for daily battle.

The teaching comes alive through personal vulnerability, including the host's confession of his own struggles to connect with God as Father due to childhood experiences, and his raw admission of moments when he falls short in daily discipleship. This transparency transforms theological concepts into relational realities that heal wounded hearts while fortifying spiritual armor.

Perhaps most convicting is the challenge to create genuine quiet space for communion with God in our noisy, hyperconnected world. "If God himself had to go somewhere quiet to pray," the host observes, "what do you think you need?" The predictable pattern of drifting away from God through busyness leads to frustration, anger and loss of peace—a cycle we can break by prioritizing genuine communion with our Commander.

Ready your weapons, silence your distractions, and tune in to discover how knowing what you believe transforms you from spiritual casualty to kingdom warrior. The battle demands nothing less.

  • 0029E We Need Warriors and Shieldmaidens! - Event Speech

Need Prayer? Send us a text on how we can pray for you!

The warrior ethos runs deep through scripture, yet many modern Christians have forgotten this fundamental aspect of faith. God describes Himself as "a man of war" in Exodus 15:3, trains our hands for battle according to Psalm 144:1, and demonstrated the ultimate warrior's sacrifice through Christ laying down His life.

Unfortunately, our generation has become perhaps the most comfortable, distracted and entertained in history. We've created a Christianity that appeals primarily to women while alienating masculine energy. Churches often lack alpha males—men with callused hands who understand discipleship and spiritual warfare. This isn't accidental but reflects a larger cultural shift away from biblical masculinity.

True Christian men must reclaim their warrior identity. This doesn't mean toxic aggression but rather embracing God's design: the strength, protective instincts, and leadership abilities He instilled in men. Biblical examples like Caleb, who boldly declared Israel could conquer the Promised Land when others cowered, show us what faithful masculine courage looks like. Even Jesus, though gentle with the broken, was no pushover—He confronted evil directly and will return as the ultimate warrior.

Women play an equally crucial role as "shield maidens"—strong partners who defend the family when men falter. Don't bubble-wrap your spouse or children; prepare them to stand strong against adversity. Nothing grows stronger in comfort—only through life's challenges do we develop spiritual muscle. Whether through farming, physical training, or intentional hardship, warriors seek growth through difficulty rather than ease.

Want to become a spiritual warrior? Start by being the light in every room, setting the tone rather than absorbing negativity. Use doorways as reset opportunities when you've failed. Fight for those nearest to you—your family, friends and neighbors—before distant mission fields. Above all, recognize that the Christian life isn't meant to be comfortable but challenging. Are you ready to exchange your spiritual couch potato status for the warrior's path Christ modeled?

  • 0028S - Farther Day Sermon - Forging Godly Fathers

Need Prayer? Send us a text on how we can pray for you!

The battlefield of fatherhood demands warriors, not spectators. This Father's Day message cuts through cultural confusion to deliver marching orders for men seeking to build an unshakeable legacy.

Every generation throughout history has been decided on ground held or surrendered by fathers. When dads stand firm in their God-appointed role, families flourish, churches advance, and cultures are rebuilt. When they fall asleep at their post, darkness rushes through the breach. For men who came to faith after years of mistakes and broken relationships, the journey from "train wreck" to trustworthy leader requires earning back credibility through consistent, faithful action.

True Christian fatherhood stands on seven pillars: faith (wielding Scripture like a weapon against doubt), family (dying to self daily for those in your care), fitness (treating your body as a temple and instrument of service), fundamentals (mastering practical skills to protect and provide), finances (viewing money as kingdom ammunition, not personal pleasure), fellowship (forging iron-sharpening relationships), and fidelity (treating marriage as a blood covenant, not a convenience).

The path forward begins with brutally honest self-assessment: Would you want your children imitating your prayer life, browser history, and daily habits? Five non-negotiables provide the framework: daily Scripture and prayer, unwavering Sunday worship priority, intentional family discipleship, physical readiness, and rigorous purity protocols to prevent moral failure.

The difference between credible and counterfeit fathers shows in their speech (blessing versus sarcasm), time investment (present versus distracted), conflict response (owning mistakes versus blame-shifting), and service (leading by example versus delegating). Perhaps most powerful is modeling genuine repentance—your family learns how to handle failure by watching you acknowledge yours.

Ready your hearts and homes. The enemy is real, the hour is late, but Christ our Warrior King has armed you with His Spirit, His Word, and His victory. Advance!

  • 0027S 2 Peter 3 - Fire, Flood, and Faith: Preparing for Christ's Certain Return- Sermon

Need Prayer? Send us a text on how we can pray for you!

What happens when prophecies seem delayed and mockers ask, "Where is this king you claim is coming?" In this powerful exploration of 2 Peter 3, we confront the persistent taunt that has challenged believers from the first century until today.

Written during Nero's persecution as his final letter before martyrdom, Peter's message carries profound urgency. He writes to churches experiencing both external hostility and internal danger from false teachers promoting moral laxity and denying Christ's return. Against this backdrop, Peter calls believers to maintain "sincere minds"—a mind held up to sunlight revealing no hidden cracks.

The heart of Peter's strategy isn't novelty but memory—returning to prophetic and apostolic foundations. When scoffers claim "everything continues as it always has," Peter points to creation and the flood as evidence God has dramatically intervened before and will do so again. This time not with water but purifying fire that will transform rather than annihilate our world.

Perhaps most comforting is Peter's explanation of divine timing. What appears as "delay" in Christ's return isn't slowness but patience—God giving humanity more opportunity for repentance. The day will indeed come "like a thief," with no warning, exposing everything hidden. As Spurgeon noted, "The Lord's slow is our salvation."

How should we live in light of this reality? Through "tactical holiness"—practical disciplines like digital audits, debt reduction, family discipleship, and acts of mercy that display the coming righteousness. Peter's final instructions remain clear: keep guarding against error and keep growing in grace and knowledge.

Ready for a spiritual re-zeroing? Join us in exploring how God's apparent delay is divine mercy, why holiness isn't mere church cosmetics but battlefield readiness, and why we should live as Richard Baxter suggested: "as though Christ died yesterday, rose this morning, and is coming back tonight."
