KTLF Spotlight

National Collection Week is almost here! This year, November 13–20, 2023 is the week to drop off your Operation Christmas Child shoebox at one of over 4,500 drop-off locations open across the country...including the studios of KTLF Radio in Colorado Springs!

Elly Singer chats again with Amanda from OCC about National Collection Week as well as how the program makes sure that each child who wil be receiving a shoebox in just a few weeks will have the opportunity to hear about salvation in Christ, and also will have access to a discipleship program.

Elly Singer talks with Jake from SHIELD616.

In recent years, the atmosphere toward law enforcement and those who serve our communities has changed. Instead of throwing up their arms and complaining, SHIELD616 has chosen to be light by supporting peace officers and first responders. They do this by up-armoring them with all-day rifle protection, praying for and encouraging them daily, and rallying community support.

KTLF's Elly Singer meets AnaLyn who grew up in the Philippines and has unforgettable memories of receiving the gift of an Operation Christmas Child shoebox as a child. If you're packing a shoebox for this year's drive, be sure to listen to this episode to understand the impact of your shoebox gift, but also AnaLyn's tips for the most important parts about packing a shoebox!

Also, join us for live Saturday shoebox collection events on October 21 and 28, 2023 at Hobby Lobby locations in Colorado Springs! For more info, call KTLF at 719-593-0600
