She dressed up for a friend’s wedding, took a picture and posted on Instagram. That’s the how it all started. Thanks to her loved ones' - Fatima’s Wardrobe is now a growing small business in Maldives. 

The founder herself is not foreign to custom designs as she recalls dressing up in different designs even as a young girl. As a young adult now, her desire to dress up in different styles with modesty in mind, led her to learn the basics of design from one of the leading dress designers in Maldives, and start her own Abaya label. With her designs she is challenging the normal all-black modest wear by offering variety of colours and modern Abayas. 

In this candid chat with the founder of Fatima's Wardrobe she shares her marketing secrets, talks about some of challenges she faces as a small business owner and gives some encouraging tips for upcoming small businesses.

Founded by two young women-entrepreneurs, Moodhu Vibes started with a vision of bringing sustainable products linked to Maldives cultivating their mutual love for the ocean.

Founders Zaahie and Raushan came up with the idea of their first product as a way to hold on to their thoughts - which came to existence while these two young women were trying to plan regular escapes from the boxed-life of Male'. The planner has functionalities of a bullet journal which includes models such as habit trackers, travel reports, lists of everyday tasks and the allocation of monthly budgets in a way that celebrates intentional living.
