As children of God, purposed to bear His image, we are agents of joy to creation. Yet, also, we must grieve and sorrow in the brokenness of this world to be seasoned priests with a heart for others. Creation truly longs for the manifestation of the sons of God. But how do we deal with such seasons of mourning?

Spiritual blindness. Such was the state of Israel during Isaiah's time. It is a good description of the state of the church today and the world at large. In this episode, Sharon speaks about the various implications of Spiritual blindness both in the Old and the New Testament. And also, how it can be cured through our seizing the moment of a personal encounter with Jesus (Luke 18:35-43). Just as blindness touches many parts of a man like his mind (Ephesians 4:17) and his understanding (Luke 24:13-35); so can a man see the varied sevenfold depths of God whose sight is restored to see Jesus. 

Sharon Fletcher is one of the leaders at Proclaiming Jesus Ministries. I consider her as a behind-the-scenes servant who always propels others in the body of Christ to go forth and shine. I have benefited a lot from her wise counsel and relational-based leadership as her Spiritual son. Without a doubt, she is a genuine prophetic woman of God that is driven by one thing and that alone -- the Glory of God. She is the mother to Chad Wilt whom I hosted in the last podcast.

"In the year that King Uzziah died I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up; and the train of His robe filled the temple." - Isaiah 6:1 ESV

I can, with absolute certainty, say that Chad Wilt is an exemplary man. He is the Senior Pastor of Proclaiming Jesus Ministries in Harrison, AR in the USA. His genuine heart in ministry has seen him and His wife Tehillah together with their fellow leaders maneuver through the stormy waters of church modernism with apostolic wisdom. 

In this episode, Chad explores the vision that Isaiah saw which made a seasoned prophet like him shaken by the Holiness of the Lord in His temple. This clarity of vision only came after the death of King Uzziah. This king symbolizes many things in our lives and in the church today that make us lose sight of Jesus and get confused by the patterns of the world. All springing from an Adamic nature that needs to die.
