Being a person who was groomed from trauma, i've found setting boundaries have been a hard thing to do and i know Toni can relate. whether it's setting boundaries for our thoughts, emotions, relationship, friendships etc. boundaries have been something we as a people, have not fully dive into and practiced, daily.Β
In this video, we will allow you to see that our thoughts should be the number one place, we can and should start to set those boundaries. what people donβt realize is that your silent monologues are what leads your life actions and decisions. Another way to acknowledge is how those silent monologues are groomed from other peopleβs narrative and words, especially for trauma livedβ¦ people.
As an abuse victim having boundaries with yourself is extremely important!! Especially mentally. Then setting standards with your thought is something that we donβt think is important. Boundaries and standard for your thoughts, stops them from running wild and free. Have standards for what typeβ¦ of thoughts youβre entertaining. Itβs similar to what you would allow for your external surrounding.
Entertaining thoughts that donβt allow for positive growth and healing would be a starting point.Β
Donβt allow your thoughts to continue to be your abuserβ¦.Β
