Kupo Talks!

In this day and age of new TV series or shows coming out every week, it can get overwhelming deciding on what to watch. So what did we decide to do? Head back to the olden days (our olden days) and watch a bunch of Bill Lawrence's "Scrubs" (also available for streaming in places!). In this episode we primarily focus on the 1st season of "Scrubs", looking to see if and how it holds up in today's modern age. We also share some thoughts and memories in general about the show, and why we think even though some episodes and seasons are hit and miss it does offer some really good arcs and experiences that only a show like "Scrubs" can pull off.

A personal note from Andrew: "Andrew confused My Screw Up with the plot of My Lunch".

Back again with your game updates! In this episode, Mog Knight talks about games that came out recently that he's played (Boyfriend Dungeon, Fuga: Melodies of Steel) while Andrew talks about games he finally got around to playing (Okami, Gravity Rush, A Hat in Time). We also close off this episode by talking about The Great Ace Attorney Case 1, with no spoilers (well, maybe a little spoilers). Hope you enjoy this episode full of game design commentary and a bit of social commentary as well!

The boys are back again, and this time their vast circle of interests and media have collided enough to the point where we're able to talk about it and analyze how it affected us. In this episode, we talk about Studio Bones' latest film "Josee the Tiger and the Fish", Fujimoto's latest one-shot manga "Look Back", and the main reason why we recorded this episode is the sleeper hit anime of 2021 "Oddtaxi" by OLM and P.I.C.S.

In this episode, we take a break from our regular programming to bring you an anime beach episode! Wait, what? Oh, just kidding, it's an episode all about our love of food and the places we had fun eating in good ol' Los Angeles. Let hosts RJ and Andrew tell you about what food means to them, and the stories they had because of their love of food and each other. Hope you enjoy!

New year, new episodes kupo! This time, we feature a special guest and dear friend of mine Amaro to talk about an anime that has a special place in our lives both good and bad: Oreimo, or "My Little Sister Can't Be This Cute"!

In this episode, we talk about the anime in the context of our lives when it aired, our thoughts on it now as we rewatched both seasons, and go in-depth on what made this anime both one to watch AND one to maybe just look at it from afar.

The mogs are back again, and this time with Aggretsuko Season 2! We start by talking about some current going-ons in our lives, then moving onto our Aggretsuko discussion. In this episode, our main focus is on three of the important characters introduced in this season: Anai, Retsuko's mom, and the handsome lad himself Tadano. Listen to our takes on these three characters, what they mean to us, and how we perceive them in relationship to both Retsuko and the human condition.
