Kush Chat

This week we are Kush Chatting with Ray Baptista. Ray started her acting career at the age of 9 doing musical theater at her home country, Brazil. From the ‘Wizard of Oz’ to ‘Beauty and the Beast’ it didn’t took long until she scored the role of Miranda in her first Shakespearean play, ‘The Tempest’.

Since relocating to NY, she was cast in the feature ’Twice as Strong’ and was then invited to come back for the ‘Twice as Strong’ series. She worked along side Turkish director Sis Gurdal on her short art film inspired by European art of the 17th and 18th centuries ‘Postcards from the Orient’ and the TV series ‘Émigré’, where she got to play a young Brazilian girl victim of sex trafficking, both are set to premier later this year. She can also be seen in the shorts ’The Venus Circle’ and ‘Blink’. Another project you can see her in is in Trevor Peckham’s ‘Green’, an arthouse social action/environmental thriller where she plays the role of Mother Nature. Most recently she got cast as the lead in the new Rafael Alvarado’s film ‘The Outsider’.

This week we are Kush Chatting with Danny Matos Who is a writer who has experience in spoken word, slam poetry, hip-hop, and the written word. He has a self-released poetry book, four hip hop albums, and is currently pitching his first round adult novel written in poetry verse to publishers. An artist born and raised in New York City, he is a self identified representer of the “late bloomers” of the world as he took a while to cultivate the passion and talent for being creative. He is also a New York City Health and Physical Education teacher and personal trainer. He enjoys writing about the entire human experience, and is set on one intention - “To make feeling real again.”

This week we are Kush Chatting with Model & Actress Candace Monae Smith who was born in New Brunswick New Jersey, raised in Bedford Stuyvesant Brooklyn by her single mother, she attended P.S. 26 Jesse Owen's elementary school, then Boys and Girls high school, as much as she hated school she knew that she had to go in order to get her degree as a Mortician. Candace attend American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service. Shortly after working on a few corps she decided to drop out of college to pursue her Modeling and Acting career. At 19 yrs old Candace booked her first job with COSMOPOLITAN MAGAZINE, shortly after that ESSENCE MAGAZINE, followed by SEVENTEEN MAGAZINE. she also shot an international ad campaign for MY BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL. As determined as she was to get on America's Next Top Model, she tried out 7 times with rejections, on that 8th try cycle 18 "British Invasion" Candace made it on as one of the final 14 contestants just turning 22yrs of age. In 2015 she shot a campaign to be the face of MOTIONS HAIR, also shot with L'Oréal, and Mac cosmetics, Branching off into Acting Candace landed a role on POWER season 4 episode 5 as Ghost assistant lawyer. VH1 The BREAKS season 1, 2019 Film John wick 3, 2019 film MOTHERLESS BROOKLYN, 2018 film SECOND ACT, 2018 film VOX LUX, and TV show SHE'S GOTTA HAVE IT season 2 episode 1, there are many more things Candace have done throughout her career, these are just some of her highlights. This week we are Kush Chatting with Onlyfans Model who is an Aussie girl from Brisbane QLD living in Canada for 2 years on a working visa. She’s an OnlyFans model, Youtuber and a professional tease who started her Youtube channel in August 2019 and from there started a patreon and an OnlyFans where she has made more money so far in less than a year than she did working a full time job back home in Australia. She was sick of working for someone else and was feeling trapped while not having no financial or personal freedom. Her Canadian boyfriend helped & convinced her to make an onlyfans so she decided to make the most of her age, body and her experience with men and online dating. This week we are Kush Chatting with Brian Adam DeJesus an Actor, Writer & Director born and raised in The Bronx, New York. Early on Brian realized he wanted to act and often was the source of entertainment at family gatherings. He started out with sports, boxing, and dance, then found Acting and followed it through. His first acting opportunity materialized when he auditioned for an open call for a pilot called Russo. He auditioned for the first time without having any prior acting experience, and landed a principal role with director Tim Van Patten at the age of 10. Since then Brian has been an active Sag member and constantly working with his agency to achieve his goals. Brian's natural chemistry with the camera has become apparent in the many roles he booked. He has been cast in different projects such as Netflix’s Lost Girls, Bull, Law & Order, The Messenger, and the teenage son in a series of Verizon commercials. Started his own YouTube series “What’s Your Hustle”

At a certain point Brian relocated to California to pursue his career further. While auditioning he also continued doing background work in order to keep himself involved in his passion. Brian is currently attending acting classes in New York Sag Offices and has recently finished wrapping up a Short independent Film, Kill Bills. He plans to attend One on One acting classes and is always auditioning, looking to improve. Brian absolutely loves acting and hopes to one day to be a successful and well-respected actor.
