In modern society, the behavioural patterns and associations with a substance often make it increasingly more difficult to overcome an addiction. Understanding the reasons which have led to the development of the abuse is a crucial part of the recovery process.

In our latest podcast, host and resident psychologist Melissa Nobile speaks with Professor Dr. med. Wulf Rössler on the issue of substance abuse. Professor Rössler discusses the stigma of addiction, the factors which are attributed to substance abuse and how to identify the signs of dependence.
