Bernie Beeson, longtime educator and proprietor of Beeson's Grocery at Hattieville, passed away Monday, February 15. Morrilton Mayor Allen Lipsmeyer declared February 16 as Bernie Beeson Day in the city. In this archive audio, Beeson performs her famed Minnie Pearl impersonation before a local civic club. KVOM's Wednesday morning NewsWatch will include a special tribute to Beeson.
