Get ready for a heartwarming and community-driven episode as we celebrate Bone Appetit Week, happening April 27 through May 3! Oregon Humane Society is teaming up with nine local restaurants to support their life-changing services for pets and the people who love them. It’s the perfect excuse to dine out for a cause—learn more about participating spots and how to get involved at oregonhumane.org.
We’ll also spotlight two very special cats currently in foster care and looking for loving homes. Meet Rothbart, a 12-year-old domestic short hair with a gentle soul. Though he has hyperthyroidism, it’s easily managed with affordable daily medication, and he’s ready to bring calm companionship to his forever family. Then there’s Eliza, a 10-month-old brown tabby who’s been gaining confidence in foster after finding shelter life overwhelming. With a little patience and love, she’s blossoming into a wonderful companion.
And don’t forget—Doggie Dash is just around the corner! Join the fun on May 9 in Portland or June 6 in Salem. Despite the name, this beloved event supports animals of all kinds—including cats!
Tune in for all this and more, and find out how you can make a difference for animals in need.
