You will be surprised that this happens, even in Cape Town, and we have the stories to prove it! Listen in to find out more.

Fathers Matter is a project that promotes the positive and active presence of men in
children’s lives to benefit children, women and men themselves.
During June 2023, Heartlines, in partnership with UNICEF SA and the SABC, aims to promote another run of national conversations encouraging positive fatherhood, and getting us to reflect on why fathers matter, especially for the wellbeing of young people. The 6 Fathers Matter short films will be rebroadcast on SABC 2 every Saturday at 8:30pm from 10th to 24th June. One of the first films to TX on Saturday 10th is Everything a Boy Could Want, starring renowned Jacques Blignaut and upcoming talent Jordan Brown. And directed by the acclaimed Zane Meas.

This winter is set out to be a brutal one. The Community Chest and Good Hope FM is setting out on a campaign to collect warm blankets and non perishable food items for the less fortunate in Cape Town. Kyeezi chats to Lynette, the Business Investment manager at The Community Chest  about this amazing initiative and how listeners can get involved.

We all of the inner lion inside us, what we do with it is the choice we make.
