Kylie’s 1987 debut single “The Loco-motion” was re-produced in ’88 with the Hit Factory’s Stock Aitken and Waterman for this UK number 2 hit.
It was also her biggest hit in the US peaking at no. 3 and was number one in Belgium, Finland, Ireland, Israel, Japan and South Africa. The song was a cover of Little Eva’s American number one dancefloor sensation written by Carole King and Gerry Goffin and featured on the soundtrack for Arthur 2: On The Rocks starring Liza Minelli and Dudley Moore.
