Episode 25 of the KYP Podcast is Mikey Magpayo. Coach Magpayo is the Head Coach for UC Riverside. Coach Magpayo has coached at several Division 1 colleges including Columbia, Campbell and University of San Francisco. In his first season as the Head Coach at UCR he finished with a school record in wins. Coach Magpayo is also a part of history as he is the first Asian American coach in Division 1 basketball in the modern era. He is also the proud founder and President of the Asian Coaches Association. This Association serves Asian basketball coaches of all levels all over the world.

Episode 24 of the KYP Podcast is Peter Bond. Coach Bond finished his first season as the Head Coach at Azusa Pacific University. Before the quarantine, his team finished 25-4 and 20-2 in conference. During Bond's 11 years as an assistant to former head coach, he helped lead Azusa Pacific to a 242-110 record (.688) with eight 20-win seasons and six national tournament appearances (three NCAA, three NAIA). In his second year on the coaching staff, the Cougars finished as 2010 NAIA national runner-up, and Azusa Pacific advanced to the NCAA Division II Elite Eight in the program's first year after completing the NCAA Division II membership transition. This podcast, we will go over family, faith and running a high level basketball program.

Episode 22 of the KYP Podcast is Coach David Grace. Coach Grace spent 20 years serving in our military before retiring. He got into coaching and immediately moved up the ranks. He started his coaching career coaching AAU for Boo Williams. He then coached high school basketball in Arizona where he won a state championship. Before getting into college basketball he also coached full time with the Compton Magic. In College he has coached at Sacramento State, San Francisco State and Oregon State. He also coached at UCLA where he was responsible for recruiting dozens of NBA players including Lonzo Ball, TJ Leaf and Aaron Holiday. After UCLA he coached at University of California. His last coaching stop was at Vanderbilt university coaching under NBA legend Jerry Stackhouse. In this podcast, he will talk about coaching at the highest NCAA level, teaching NBA players and how the military has influenced his coaching.

Episode 20 of the KYP Podcast is Dan Krikorian. Coach Krikorian has been coaching at Chapman University for the past seven years. Prior to coaching at Chapman, he was the Head Coach at Costa Mesa High School where he set the school record for wins. Episode 20 of the KYP Podcast is Eric Olen. Coach Olen is the Head Coach at UC San Diego. Over his seven years as head coach, Olen has transformed the program, leading the Tritons to three California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) regular season titles, and four consecutive CCAA tournament crowns. He has posted a 159-56 (.740) overall record with a 110-40 (.733) mark in California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) play. His teams have been ranked nationally in the top 10 many times. He has been names CCAA coach of the year twice. He is widely regarded as one of the top offensive basketball minds in the country. His teams routinely lead the country in 3 pointers made and 3-point percentage. Episode 19 of the KYP Podcast is Gus Argenal. Coach Argenal is the associate Head Coach at Cal State University. He is entering his 17th season as a college basketball coach. Before going to CSUF he coached at University of Reno. He helped them reach the sweet 16 and coached several NBA players. He was the Head Coach for four seasons as the head coach of the Cal State East Bay. Prior to being named the head coach at Cal State East Bay he has been an assistant coach for several schools including, Rice, UC Davis, Chico State, UT San Antonio, UC Davis and Arizona State. Argenal, a college point guard played at UC Davis and still holds the Aggies single game record with 13 assists. His senior season he topped the Aggies in assists and steals and helped the 2003-04 team post and 18-9 record. He received his undergraduate degree in history from UCD in 2004 and earned a master’s degree in education from Arizona State in 2005. Coach Argenal is a master communicator and coach. Listen as he breaks down life on the move and working with numerous NBA and pro players.
